Kings Park fishing charter.
30 minutes east — private trips for 1–4 anglers.
Captain Skippy Charters is the private fishing charter for the Kings Park area — about a 30-minute drive east on Route 25A to our dock at Mount Sinai Marina. Private-only, 1–4 anglers, all tackle and NY State fishing license included.
The right trip for a Kings Park group
Kings Park sits at the western end of our regular service area. When you book, you get the whole Christina M II — a 26-ft Down East rigged for 1–4 anglers with real fishing room, a heated cabin, and a Minn Kota trolling motor for holding on structure. No head-boat rail, no strangers, no rushed schedule. Great for family days, bachelor parties, or a small group of buddies who want a private day on the water.
What we target from your side
From Kings Park you're just west of Smithtown Bay and the Nissequogue River mouth — both of which we work on the way to the Middle Grounds and the central Sound structure east of Mount Sinai. On a normal half-day trip, we might fish anywhere from Crane Neck east to Old Field or the Rocky Point shoals, depending on tide, weather, and what species are biting. Fall trips shift to blackfish (tautog) on the rocky bottoms east of Mount Sinai starting October 11.
Trip pricing
- Half-Day Mixed Bag — $600 / boat, 5 hours, 1–4 anglers, May 1 – Oct 10.
- Fall Blackfish — $700 / boat, 6 hours, Oct 11 – Nov 30.
- Optional 5th angler — +$150 case-by-case.
- Included — rods, reels, bait, tackle, NY fishing license, cleaned/bagged catch.
