Coram fishing charter.
15-minute drive north — LIE-adjacent, private trips.
Captain Skippy Charters is the private fishing charter serving the Coram area — a straight 15-minute drive north on Route 112 to Route 25A east into Mount Sinai. Convenient LIE-adjacent access and one of the shortest drives to a private Long Island Sound charter from central Suffolk County.
The LIE-adjacent advantage
Coram sits right off exits 63/64 on the Long Island Expressway, which means it's actually one of the easiest neighborhoods in Suffolk to meet up with a group of buddies and head to a north-shore charter. Everyone converges on Coram, one car drives 15 minutes north to our dock in Mount Sinai, and you're on the water. No ferry traffic, no East End sit-in-line drive.
Great for group and family trips
A lot of our Coram customers book bachelor parties, corporate days, birthday trips, and family charters. The Christina M II is set up for 1–4 anglers — five case-by-case. Kid-sized life jackets aboard, heated cabin for cooler mornings, and a captain who's been teaching first-timers for 20+ years. Everyone's fishing license is covered under our charter.
Trip options
- Half-Day Mixed Bag ($600 / boat, 5 hours, May 1 – Oct 10) — striped bass, bluefish, fluke, sea bass, porgies.
- Fall Blackfish ($700 / boat, 6 hours, Oct 11 – Nov 30) — tautog on rocky structure.
- Optional 5th angler — +$150 case-by-case.
