Belle Terre fishing charter.
10 minutes east — your view is our fishing grounds.
Captain Skippy Charters is the private fishing charter option for Belle Terre — a quick 10-minute drive east through Port Jefferson to our dock at Mount Sinai Marina. If you have Belle Terre water views, the boat we fish is a few minutes from your driveway. Private-only, 1–4 anglers, USCG-licensed.
Your neighborhood's water is our water
Belle Terre sits directly above the mouth of Port Jefferson Harbor and Old Field Point — two of our regular spots. The Christina M II works the ledges and structure just off Old Field for striped bass, fluke and porgies all spring and summer, and the rocky bottoms nearby for fall blackfish starting October 11. When we're on the water there's a fair chance you can see us from your back deck.
Why book a private charter?
Belle Terre residents typically want the experience without the crowds. Our trip is private-only — you never share the boat with strangers. No head-boat rail. Real fishing room for 1–4 anglers. Captain runs the trip around your group, not a schedule built for 40 people. If you've been considering a bigger boat launch for a private trip, this is the same experience with a shorter drive and no ferry-terminal traffic.
